Divisions for all ranks and all ages (6 and up)
Youth (Age 15 and Under) $20 per person or $40 per team
Adult (Age 16 and Over) $25 per person or $50 per team

How to enter the H.S. Okazaki Invitational National Jujitsu Kata Championships

Register and pay:
Use the Ohana 2024 registration form to register and pay. In Bonus Activities, Sunday Ohana Kata Contest, select your age group.

If you have already registered for Ohana and want to add the kata contest, go to the registration page again; select ‘Registration is for’ ‘Extras Only‘, then select the Kata Contest item.

Register by June 16, 2024 – no last minute signups.

Practice: Download the requirements list. Find your division in the list. Select your demonstration techniques and practice.

Paperwork: Download the judging form (see chart below) and fill it out. Bring four copies to contest.

The requirements are general and give you lots of flexibility when deciding what techniques to demonstrate.

Youth divisions are listed by age and experience level: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced. Sensei: you can place youth in novice, intermediate or advanced divisions as you see fit.

You’ll see lots of divisions in the list! Divisions may be combined depending on the number of entries.

There are three different judging forms. Please download and complete the judging form for your division using the chart below.
